Greg's background in news began at KTVN 2 (CBS) in Reno where he was a production assistant and interned as an associate news producer. From there he went on to work for Reno's NBC affiliate, KRNV News 4. It was during his time at News 4 that he began to master the art of both internet and traditional journalism.
Greg says the highlight of his time at KRNV was interviewing nearly all the major presidential candidates for 2008... and getting to cover President George Bush during his 2007 trip to the Silver State, as well as meeting 2008 candidate Mitt Romney.
Another highlight of his time at KRNV was breaking the story of immigration raids in Reno... a story which led to coverage by CNN, MSNBC, Fox News and included luminary commentators like Sean Hanitty and Glenn Beck. That coverage also led to a 2nd breaking story involving a debate over the flying of the Mexican flag above American flags... yet another story Greg broke at KRNV.
Greg also worked at KHGQ FM in Quincy and at KPSU AM/FM in Portland, OR.
His philosophy is to be energetic... and to help people by telling the truth about whatever issues are important to the three-county region of Sierra Radio Network.
Greg is an avid Seattle Seahawks and Washington Huskies fan. Go Huskies!!! Huskies fan. Go Huskies!!!
